  • Buy a notebook to take to sites
  • Take notes when you are at the sites!
  • Wear comfortable shoes
  • Bring water, sunscreen, camera, garment for warmth/cover
  • Bring your blue guide
  • Come prepared having read the material for the day
  • Bring a map! If you don't already have one, you can get one at Feltrinelli (on Largo Argentina across from the tram)

This year Italy's annual Settimana della Cultura will be April 16 - 25. During this week (10 days, actually) there will be many special openings, exhibits, concerts, guided tours, and other initiatives throughout Italy, and admission to State museums, monuments and archeological sites is free.
