I hope you all had a safe and smooth trip across the Atlantic.
Tomorrow - Monday 3/29 - is our first day together. You should be coming to the UW Rome Center to check in anytime after 9am. Remember the center is located at Piazza del Biscione 95 right off the Campo de' Fiori. Every Roman knows this place, so if you get lost just ask for the Campo.
If you arrive between 12-1pm, the portone - large front door - will be closed. You can ring the buzzer for UWRC administration and someone will let you in.
Tomorrow night we will be meeting for our first group dinner at Trattori Moderna - right around the corner from the Rome Center. We will be meeting for dinner at the UWRC portone at 7pm. We will walk to dinner together from there.
If you are arriving after the UWRC closes, you can call my cell phone and I will help you get checked in. My cell phone number is 331.736.1863. If you do not already have a phone, you will need to buy a phone card from a store marked with a T for Tabacchi. You can call me using a pay phone.
